i died a bit

i met with my old friends yesterday.
we played football all afternoon.
tired ourselves out, talked about our present lives, told stories about our different paths.

i haven’t seen some of them for like years now.
some are here in this city, our paths intertwine everyday without our full knowledge, some live far away, far from the weight of our past, away from this shit.

it was a strange feeling.
it was as if we were young again, unbound by matters of consequence.
not much has changed with the way we shared each other’s company.
we teased each other like old times and laughed until our throats hurt. until we all fell asleep. LOL

it got me a wee bit nostalgic.
reminded me that some things are better left unchanged.
things that we enjoyed in the past.
things that made our pasts worth remembering.
they’re better left in one corner, just lying there, waiting.

About delamorte

Eherm... A boy with a soiled face who's spent 23 pathetic years trying to make a difference... An old man trying to talk his way out of his own cage... And the Seer who's trying to poise these two alter egos' rage... You won't find anything interesting enough in me to ask about my real life facts. Trust me, things will get more and more boring once you take that path. Disclaimer : These are just random rants and stories cooked-up out of boredom and prolonged stages of catatonia. Please feel free to troll/criticize my works, i am but a poor soul trying to find my way out of this miserable phase some of you call life, your critiques shall serve as my guiding light.
