“she doesn’t need you anymore”, he said as he threw an idle glass at the wall.
An ominous sound hung around the room as he drew his excess energy out.
“shut up, you know nothing about us”, i replied with no conviction.
He looked at me with his left eyebrow raised.
“tell me then”, he said as he grabbed another glass, “what do YOU know about her?”
I woke up with a startle. Sweaty and already in pain. It was burrowing itself at the back of my head. Throbbing, making me flinch everytime it crescendoed. I pushed myself up and tried to focus my sight. I managed to reach the sink before throwing up what little I managed to eat a few hours ago.
This has to stop.
I said to myself.
This has gone for far too long.
I do not deserve this misery.
“What has gone for far too long?”, asked by a chilling yet familiar voice behind me….
